How do I cash-out my assets to local currency?
The Sorted Wallet cash-out feature lets you turn your USDT into local money, sent to mobile money or a bank account:

Tap Withdraw and choose the currency you want to receive.

Enter the amount and choose the network to withdraw from.

Pick an offer from one of our payout providers.

Complete identity verification (KYC) if you have not already, then add or choose your payout method, either a bank account or mobile money.

Review the details and confirm. Funds usually arrive within a few minutes, and can take up to 30 minutes.
Which countries support cash-out?
Cash-out is currently available in Nigeria, Kenya and Tanzania. We are working to bring it to more markets, and the app will let you know when it becomes available in your country. If cash-out is not yet live where you are, you will see a Coming Soon screen where you can choose to be notified.
Why do I have to verify my identity (KYC) to withdraw?
Some payout providers require a quick identity check before they can send you local currency. Verification has three short steps: your basic details, your address and phone, and your ID information (National ID or passport). You may be redirected to a secure verification partner to finish. Once verified, you can withdraw freely.
What payout methods can I use?
Depending on your country and the provider, you can withdraw to a bank account or to mobile money. Supported mobile money options include M-PESA, Airtel, MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, Tigo Pesa, Vodafone, Zamtel and HaloPesa, among others. You add your payout details once and can reuse them.
What do the withdrawal statuses mean?
A withdrawal moves through clear stages so you always know where it is:

Initiated: your request has been received.

Processing: your provider is sending the funds.

Settled or Completed: the money has been paid out.

Failed or Expired: the payout did not go through. Your funds are safe, and you can try again or contact support.
My withdrawal is complete but I have not received the money.
Payouts usually arrive within a few minutes. If a withdrawal shows as completed but you have not received the funds after about five minutes, open the withdrawal details and use Contact support, or reach us through Settings, then Support, with your payment ID.
Why can I not withdraw right now?
If you see a message that withdrawals are unavailable in your region, or that no provider currently supports your chosen currency, it means cash-out is not yet live for that country or currency. You can use Sorted Wallet's other features in the meantime, and you will be notified when cash-out becomes available in your region.
