Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Creating an account takes about a minute:

  1. Open the app and choose your language.

  2. Register with either your phone number or your email address.

  3. Enter the verification code we send you to confirm it is really you.

  4. If you have an invite or campaign code, enter it. If not, you can skip this step.

Once that is done, your wallet is ready and you will land on your home screen.

Can I register with WhatsApp?

If you are in a supported region and the number you enter is on WhatsApp, our system will try to send your verification code on WhatsApp first. If WhatsApp cannot be reached, we then send the code to your mobile number by SMS instead. Either way, you do not need to do anything special; just enter the code you receive.

What is an invite code, and do I need one?

An invite code is optional. If someone shared one with you, entering it links your account to their invite when you sign up. You do not need a code to use the app, and you can always skip it. You can also add an invite code later under Settings, then Add Referral code.

I entered the wrong code during sign-up. What happens?

If a code is not recognised, the app shows a short message asking you to try again. You can correct it, or skip the step entirely and continue to your wallet.

How do I add money to my wallet?

There are two ways to fund your wallet today:

  • Receive crypto from another wallet or exchange: Click Receive, choose the asset you want to receive and the network, then copy your wallet address or share your QR code and have the funds sent to you.

  • Redeem a Sorted Top-up Card: Buy a stablecoin scratch card with cash, scratch to reveal the code, and enter it in the app to top up your balance instantly. This is currently available in select regions such as Nigeria and Kenya.

  • Receive money with Request Remittance: Create a payment request link, send it to your contact, and let them pay you by credit card or with any blockchain wallet of their choice.

Coming soon: Buying stablecoins directly with local currency through a bank account or mobile money is on our roadmap and will be available in a future update.
